VISION STATEMENT
We are a coalition of concerned citizens whose awareness and compassion for Puyallup’s homeless population compels us to search out ways to ease their hardships and to offer hope through our efforts to create viable alternatives within an informed community.
MISSION STATEMENT
We, as concerned agencies, faith communities, and citizens, choose to work collaboratively toward the elimination of involuntary homelessness in the greater Puyallup area.
We commit our energies, resources, and influence to easing the hardships inherent in exposure to the elements, hunger and isolation as well as to creating viable alternatives to living without shelter.
We actively engage the Puyallup community in an ongoing education process regarding the causes of homelessness and the means of alleviating its effects upon local families and individuals.
We advocate at city, county, and state levels for the creation of a civic environment in which involuntary homelessness no longer exists. Trusting in the goodness of Puyallup’s citizens and officials, we invite them into a joint effort of building a better world in our corner of Pierce County.”
